Instilling a sense of pride in the community.

Our goal is to promote home ownership, provide for revitalization
and preservation of the neighborhood.

New Hope embodies the best spirit and values of our citizens.

We help our residents (individuals and families) daily. We protect, feed, heal, shelter, educate, and nurture the community's bodies and spirits. New Hope also gives shape to the community's dreams and high ideals. We feel that as an organization, we play a vital role in building healthy communities by providing critical services that contribute to economic stability and mobility. We also strengthen communities in other important ways. Frequently, we are the voice of the people we serve.

New Hope is improving the quality of life for residents, businesses and institutions.

The New Hope Non-Profit Community Development Housing Corporation serves the area bounded by 8 Mile Rd. (N), Telegraph Rd. (W), Southfield Fwy (E) and 6 Mile Rd. (S). While the New Hope Neighborhood remains one of the more stable neighborhoods in the City of Detroit, it has not been immune from the effects of urban sprawl and community blight. Having one of the few communities for which many of the existing homes are ranch style on slightly larger lots than other Detroit communities, and being just within the city limits adjacent to the suburbs of Southfield and Redford make this neighborhood an appealing area for redevelopment.

Our goal is to promote homeownership, provide for revitalization and preservation of the neighborhood.
