Sister Helen Wilson

Sister Helen Wilson, OP, a member of the Dominican Sisters of Adrian Michigan, was born in West Palm Beach, FL.  She attended Rosarian Academy and then Barry University in Miami Shores, receiving both a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance.

Sister Helen has been on the Board of New Hope since 1995 serving on the Fund
Development Committee as a member and as Chairperson and has also served as Vice President of the Board, past years and presently.Primarily an educator, Sister Helen is proud of the educational phase for new homeowners as they learn how to clear credit and learn home management skills.

Being a part of New Hops is both energizing and rewarding as families become homeowners for the first time and are able to have permanence and pride in homeownership. Revitalizing the neighborhood of New Hope's service area is paramount to providing safe, affordable homes for our families.

The successes of New Hope gives Sister Helen great expectations for the future as more families will be able to attain homeownership.
