LOUISE GUYTON

Louise Guyton is vice president of public affairs at Comerica Bank, beginning her career as a teller at what was then Detroit Bank and Trust.  She took advantage of Comerica’s education reimbursement program, majoring in business administration and psychology and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Detroit.

In her current position with Comerica, Ms. Guyton manages the community outreach activities and serves as Community Reinvestment Act compliance manager for the City of Detroit.  The Community Reinvestment Act is a federal regulation requiring banks to give back to the community.  Deeply devoted to the economic revitalization of Detroit, Ms. Guyton is honored to work with many small businesses and non-profit organizations in the city to help them reach their goals.

Ms. Guyton feels she is privileged to work with many faith-based organizations.  She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a lifetime member of the NAACP.   The mother of two and grandmother of six, she manages to spend quality time with all of them on a weekly basis.
